The word knight means 'mounted warrior'. By the 100s a code of chivalry had been developed by which knights were expected to live. A knight was expected to defend his Christian faith, to behave honourably towards his enemies and to protect the weak and poor.
This set of 4 Knight figures, each measuring 4cm tall, are made from lead-free pewter. The box is full colour with images on the front and back and has historical information on the reverse and inside slap.
